Frequently Asked Questions

Where is shop located?

We do not currently have a brick and mortar location. For now, orders can be placed via email, phone, and Twitter.

How far in advance do I need to order?

Because we are custom bakers, orders needs to be placed three days in advance. On rare occasions we may be able to fill your order with less notice, but you shouldn't count on it.

What is the minimum order?

The minimum order depends on what you are ordering. For muffins and cupped cakes, the minimum order is a dozen of the same variety. Cookies are also available by the dozen.

What sizes do your cakes come in?

Cakes come in six inch and ten inch rounds with two, three, or four layers. Cakes for special events can be ordered in larger sizes.

How much do you charge?

Pricing depends on what you are interested in purchasing. Contact us for pricing.

What if I don't see something I like?

The listing on the website is but a small sampling of what we can do. We prefer a good challenge so let us know what you want.

Do you do special events like weddings and conferences?

Yes we do large events. Contact us with the details and we'll work something out. All large events require a non-refundable 25% deposit.

Can I pick up my order or do you deliver?

Yes you can pick up your order. We offer delivery for a small fee.

Do you offer cakes for people with food allergies?

Yes we offer cakes for people with food issues. We can do gluten free, vegan, egg free, lactose free and others. Contact us with you particular problem and we'll see what we can do.

Are you a gluten free bakery?

We are obviously not a gluten free bakery but we do offer gluten free options. We practice excellent separation techniques and do everything possible to minimize cross contamination. We can put you in touch with customers that have purchased our gluten free goods if you'd like to talk with someone that shares your concerns.

How long will my goods last?

Since Crumb refuses to use preservatives or weird chemicals, our goods will generally stay fresh for about three days. They should be kept in an airtight container or in a bakery box tightly wrapped in plastic wrap. Many of our items also freeze well if they are well wrapped.

Can I read reviews?

You sure can. Head over to Yelp to check out what the people are saying and leave your own review if you have a minute.
